About me
Creating web pages meant to be viewed by humans. If you want to make it readable by robots too then use microformats or RDF(a). Do not sacrifice usability...
This is a testing seo page. All this page is written in full invalid html, just to show to all of you that the best seo tip is having a lot of text with good content. So, no title tag, no meta tags in it, not even a heading tag. Just pure invalid HTML markup that uses only css to display nice and keep some people visiting it.
This page has a heavy usage of CSS3, so choose a browser that supports it. Browsers that support CSS3 (Full or partial) are :
Firefox >=3
Opera 10
Safari
Chrome
This site is optimized for Firefox.(period)
If you are looking for a site that has the same old seo story, then you came to the wrong place. Go somewhere else and let them tell you (and try to change your mind) about proper html, keyword rich titles and meta descriptions or even good and search engine friendly urls that will make your site hit the top of the search results.
This page's size is ~3kb and uses only css to display content. The only html tags used are A,B,DIV (2 divs to center content),EM and BR. Everything else uses plain text surrounded by the "<" and ">" symbols just to support css. So the header of this page is actually this code :
<header>Hello stranger!!! You have found the best page on the internet that will make your site hit the first position on any keyword</header>
This makes content more available to robots with less code and assigns the heavy duty of display to CSS.
My inspiration came from various sites that claim to be seo experts and give people the tips we all know. What are these tips? The things most of us know:
Good and relative titles
Relative meta description
Some keywords that must exist in the contents too
Use of the H1,H2,H3 tags
Friendly URLS
Keywords in image Alt properties
Internal Linking
Backlinks
So. What else can they offer us except the things we already know?
Another inspiration was Google's SEO guide. It is a PDF file written by Google itself setting some standards for content optimization. If someone read the whole document he or she will understand that Google cares more about typography and user friendlyness than any other thing.
